THE RIDGES OF THE CARNEDDAU

The Carneddau is unforgiving, its terrain and weather system ensures the explorer has to work hard for the rewards that it offers. Once earned, this often remote area of Snowdonia will never be forgotten. For me the best times to visit are Spring and Winter, the range will often provide solitude for multiple days. Preparedness is essential, the navigation and weather will constantly challenge and stretch even the most ardent and experienced walkers. Big skies, big mountains and even wild horses await you.
