Glyder Fawr and Glyder Fach is a truly epic adventure, there is something almost mystic about the area. The rock formation is fantastic and the panoramas are really something out of this world. Rarely busy in Autumn and Spring you tend to get the place to yourself after about 5PM and is a photographers delight and you will be often blessed with temperature inversions! The walk up is not for the feint hearted but can be easily navigated in daylight via the Devil’s Kitchen or Y Garn if the weather is on your side. The trip should not be attempted in Snow and Ice unless you have the experience of both climbing and navigating in such conditions, but, well worth the effort for the Winter views of the complete Snowdonia range. The route also provides a springboard for Tryfan if you have the energy at the end or beginning of the day. Enjoy be safe!
