Exploration of the Brecon Beacons National Parks
The Brecon Beacons are one of four ranges of mountains and hills in South Wales which make up the Brecon Beacons National Park. The National Park was established in 1957, the third of the three Welsh parks after Snowdonia in 1951 and the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park in 1952.

Pen Y Fan, Corn Du & Cribyn
Pen y Fan and Corn Du are the two highest peaks of the central Brecon Beacons. At 886m, Pen y Fan is the highest mountain in southern Britain, followed by Corn Du at 873m and Cribyn at 795m, and each year more than 250,000 pairs of feet make the trek to the summits of these impressive peaks.
